the Author
Sandra
Meyer Tian was born and raised in Coldwater, Ohio. She graduated Summa
Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati and received a Bachelors
of Science degree. She taught school for fifteen years, teaching
children from ages seven thru fourteen. She also received a Masters
of Education degree from Regent University.
In 1988, she received the "Outstanding Young Women of America Award" in recognition of "outstanding ability,
accomplishments and service to the community." She currently teaches third grade in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Her
desire is to create a special love for dogs in small children by
writing true and entertaining stories about her dog, Buddy. He is
a small Maltese and is very lively, loving and loyal. Her love for
Buddy has provided the inspiration for all of her books.
The
Meet Buddy series of books begins with Buddy Goes to
the Fire Station, and continues with Buddy Meets Bubba the Traffic Safety Officer. Future books will include Buddy Finds a
Home, Buddy Meets the Neighbors, Buddy Goes to the Groomer,
Buddy Goes to the Doctor, and Buddy Goes to Puppy Kindergarten.
